Christine Shedron, CPDT-KA

Christine received her behavior training from Dr. Suzanne Hetts and Dr. Daniel Estep of Animal Behavior Associates. She is certified through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. She has also attended many seminars on behavior and continues her education several times per year.

Christine is a native of Colorado, raised in Buena Vista. She moved to Golden in 1984 and after working in the business field, found her true calling  working with animals. She worked for a veterinary hospital for 14 years where her passion for animal behavior grew. She then went out on her own to open a doggie daycare /training facility which specialized in early socialization of puppies. In 2007 she began working with Drs. Hetts and Estep. She effectively resolves common as well as complex behavior problems.

Ben loves dogs.  His lifelong connection with animals was able to flourish when he volunteered at Pup-e-ssori, where he received most of his dog training education from Christine Shedron.  Ben spent a good portion of his life as a Master Carpenter but has found a path through his mid-life crisis by giving back to the dogs.  Although we may think we save the animals, Ben would say the dogs have saved him.

His connection with the animals helps him effectively help humans learn the language of the dog.

Following in Christine’s footsteps, Ben has been teaching puppy classes, obedience classes and private training sessions with goals of becoming a certified training as well as a behavior consultant.
